Reiki Re-Awakened: A Weekend Intensive
Reiki is the re-awakening of our connection to the Universal Ki or life energy. While everything that has life has ki — the activating energy of the Universe — a Reiki attunement connects the receiver in an increased way to its limitless source. The attunement process, unique to Reiki, is not a healing session — it creates the healer. Reiki is part of our genetic heritage, our healing lineage and a part of all of us. 

This weekend intensive provides full training in all the degrees of Reiki, from the first attunements:
Reiki I – to the ability to teach – Reiki III/Master.
Participants have the opportunity to proceed
as far as their inner guidance leads.
Taking all three degrees in one weekend
is a highly intensive and transformative experience.
Reiki, on any level, is a magical gift
you give yourself.

The Three Degrees
Essential Reiki consists of three degrees. Each degree increases the healer's ability to hold, transmit and receive Reiki. Many forms of Reiki are taught in a drawn-out fashion, with attunements occurring over extended periods of time.

Essential Reiki can be taught over a single weekend, or a period of three days - one day for each degree. It can also be taken one degree at a time on the scheduled day of the appropriate class.

Reiki I - First degree
Introduction and history, hand positions and a healing session are included in this class. Learn healing for yourself and others, as well as group healing. Become a competent hands-on healer as quickly as this miraculous experience and the Reiki I attunement. There is no previous study requirement.

Reiki II - Second degree
The Second Degree requires Reiki I to attend (from any teacher). It includes advanced healing techniques, manifesting, Reiki symbols and the readiness for Reiki III. Receive Reiki II attunements and learn Reiki as a tool for healing the past, present and future.

Reiki III - Third Degree
This is the Teaching degree, information withheld until now from most healers. Learn more symbols, esoteric symbol information, the procedure for passing attunements and how to teach Reiki. The power and beauty of the Reiki III attunement cannot be described in words. Reiki I and II are prerequisites; those taking Reiki III must also attend Reiki II.

Classes are taught over the course of a weekend, with Reiki I on Friday evening, Reiki II on Saturday evening and Reiki III held on Sunday afternoon.

I had gone to see my doctor, because I was suffering with excruciating pain in my knee, after having twisted it. Following x-rays, office visits, talking about surgery, along with pain medication, which I was found to be allergic to, nothing had changed.  The doctors found a tear in the cartilage, and the pain was unbelievable. After nearly two months, and having to do something, I went to see Karen. I had never had a healing before this and didn’t know what to expect, but knew that something had to be done.  We sat together, while she worked on me with Reiki, and within half an hour, the pain was completely gone. I worried that it might come back, but was finally pain free. I got up, afraid that standing on that leg would, cause the pain to return, but it never did. I will be eternally grateful for the help she gave me.
